What better way to celebrate the end of summer vacation than a beach day?
On Friday, we drove up to Heart’s Desire at Tomales Bay State Park, where we paddled on inflatable kayaks, shucked fresh oysters, and swam with swarms of jellyfish (the non-stinging kind!).
Summer is our busy period here at Waterside, and it has come and gone too fast this year. We’ve been surfing in Santa Cruz, mountain biking at Salt Point, and camping in the Humboldt Redwoods. Even though school is now in session for many of our youth interns, we do still have several exciting trips planned for this fall that we hope you’ll join us on. To all of our past and present interns: we wish you all the best with the start of the new school year!
