Each year, over 300 youth ages 8-24 participate in Waterside’s workshops job-training internships, classes, and partnership programs. Waterside is a safe place for youth to feel heard, gain confidence, develop work skills, and access the tools and resources needed to lead healthy, sustainable lives.
Located at the Berkeley Aquatic Park, Waterside Workshops offers internships and jobs for youth in our two social enterprises: a community bike shop and a wooden boat shop and boat rental facility. Our interns also have opportunities to explore the natural surroundings of the Bay Area through our Adventures program.
