Street Level Cycling Club is committed to building and hosting a wide variety of rides that welcome all experience levels – from novice riders finding their rhythm to seasoned cyclists chasing big miles and serious climbs. Our goal is to create consistent, well-organized routes that build fitness, confidence, and community across the East Bay and beyond.

“Point Richmond Out & Back” (Novice)

An easy out-and-back from Waterside Workshops to Point Richmond. Relaxed, non-drop pace with regroup points – perfect for newer riders or anyone looking for easy weekday miles after work. Smooth Bay Trail riding, good conversation, and a solid way to build fitness and community.

“Grizzly & The Three Bears” (Intermediate)

A challenging East Bay classic featuring the Three Bears, Grizzly Peak, and rolling Pinole terrain. This 40+ mile route packs steady climbing and over 3,500 feet of elevation into a focused, high-quality effort. Expect a moderate to strong pace with regroup points at key summits. Designed for riders ready to step up from novice mileage and build real climbing strength.

“Marin Epic” (Advanced)

An 80+ mile Marin epic built for strong riders looking to push distance and climbing. Rolling out from Waterside Workshops, we cross into Marin and head toward Point Reyes with sustained climbs, long coastal rollers, and over 5,000 feet of elevation. This is a challenging, self-sufficient ride with minimal regrouping – steady, disciplined pacing on flats and focused efforts on the climbs. Designed for experienced riders ready to go long, go hard, and build real endurance.

SLC Cafe Ride

A scenic 58-mile Marin loop from Waterside Workshops with a stop at Caffè Acri in Tiburon. Steady, non-drop pace with regroup points – perfect for riders looking for strong weekend miles, good banter, pastries, and coffee before rolling home together.
