As we step into 2026, we want to pause and say thank you.
Thanks to the generosity of our community, Waterside Workshops raised $77,171 toward our $50,000 year-end goal in our 2025 End-of-Year Campaign, significantly exceeding our goal. This incredible response reflects more than financial support. It represents trust, shared values, and a deep belief in young people and what’s possible when they’re supported. We were also grateful to welcome many new donors during this campaign, expanding the community that makes our work possible.
Your support fuels the everyday moments that matter most. Young people build skills through bike repair, woodworking, garden education, and climate action projects. They earn their first paychecks through paid internships, explore nature, and learn alongside caring mentors in safe, welcoming spaces designed for growth and belonging.

In December, that support came to life through our annual kids’ bike giveaway, where 100 bikes and helmets were given to children in our community. For many kids, it was their first bike, opening the door to independence, confidence, and more time outdoors, and serving as a powerful reminder that they are seen, supported, and valued.
We’re also honored to share that Waterside Workshops recently received a $50,000 donation from the Campbell Foundation, providing an important boost as we head into 2026. Their support strengthens our ability to grow thoughtfully and opens the door to new partnership opportunities in the year ahead, while staying rooted in what matters most: young people, skill building, and community.
Because of you, we can plan with confidence and continue saying yes to young people who are ready to learn, work, and lead. As we look ahead, we’re excited for what 2026 holds and for upcoming community events that will bring our amazing community together to celebrate, connect, and keep building something meaningful side by side.
